We also take care of another school on marshall road call Kpan's Town. When we visited this village, we noticed there is none school exept a "palava hotte" with really few and poor furnitures. We also understood that all children in this village don't have access to education. 10 years old and impossible to writte their name or age...

We decided to act as soon as possible. After several meeting with the village, we decided as follow:

Butterfly/Association Papillon will take care of providing on a first time school stationnery and furniture for the school.

The village with their agreement will give 2 acres to the government.

The government (Ministry of Education) will train the teacher.

Then, Butterfly/Association papillon will try to collect funds in 2011 to build the fundation of the school. Hope to be able to start the new school for september 2012. And give good education access to more than 100 children in the community and around.

1) Nous participerons à la Foire de Pâques de Baugé le lundi 5 Avril. Notre stand se tiendra en plein coeur du centre ville. Nous vous attendons nombreux!! Dernière Collecte, spéciale "fournitures scolaires" + vente d'objets artisanaux du Libéria au profit du projet: l'achat d'un générateur pour l'école "Mother of Jesus Christ".

2) Ramassage de tous les cartons collectés fin mai pour expédition du camion (date à préciser ultérieurement). Nous recherchons des personnes pouvant nous aider pour le ramassage, merci!!

1) Monday 5 April: Butterfly will participate to the annual salon in France at Baugé (city in the "Maine et Loire"). We will collecte essentially tools for schools (pens, book, game,...) and we will sell liberian art. All the benefits will go directly to our first project: the purchase of one generator for the school in Harbel's town: "Mother of Jesus Christ".

2) At the end of May, we will collecte all the box of clothes in France and put them in the truck. Then, we will send the truck to Liberia.

September 2009:

1) Lieux des distributions:

Pour la prochaine collecte, nous envisageons de distribuer les fournitures dans trois lieux différents comme suit:

Tout le domaine du jouet et de l'enfant vers un orpheninat.

Une partie des cartons pour un village reculé en forêt (les photos seront bientôt prise pour que vous puissiez avoir un aperçu de l'environnement)

L'autre partie sera donné à l'école "Mother of Jesus Christ". (lieux de la première distribution)

2) Organisation d'une soirée:

L'association Rock'o Mans (voir Libellé "PARTENARIAT") se propose d'organiser une soirée "collecte" pour l'association au Passeport du Cochon Vert (place d'Alger, Le Mans) courant du mois de novembre.

Les fonds récoltés ainsi que les fournitures seront pour l'association Papillon.

La date est encore à fixée...affaire à suivre...

3) Marché:

Afin de faire connaitre l'association, nous envisageons d'être présent lors d'un marché à la Flèche ou au Mans. Le but: récolter des fournitures et se faire connaître.

4) Partenariat:

Etablir sur le long terme un échange scolaire avec une école basée à Angers et l'école "Mother of Jesus Christ" à Monrovia. But: Ouvrir l'esprit aux enfants des 2 pays et créer un échange interessant pour les 2 écoles. Les points sont en cours de discussion pour l'organisation de cet échange.
